Michael Dickinson, born April 23, 1994, works from his private community-based studio in Marin where he fabricates primarily hollow form art and sculpture using borosilicate glass flameworking techniques. His work has been inspired by the growing contemporary glass and STEAM movements of the California art scene, as he incorporates gold and silver fume implosions into a unique expression of chemical reactions within his glass. Drawing from the fluid movements in nature, he continues to experiment with bringing that quality, from a molten state, to a solid formation of artistic articulation.
