Improve and expand on your glassblowing skills by focusing on the timeless shape of the cylinder. The cylinder is the fundamental shape from which many other shapes are made, including long and short vases. This class has an emphasis on proper gathering, heating, shaping and blowing of hot glass.
After this class you’ll have the tools to better approach more complicated shapes with waists and hollow body sculptures. Introduction to Glassblowing is required to take this course.
Some classes require protective eye wear (eye wear provided by SGS). All students required to wear closed toed-shoes.
