Edible Beads “Good Enough to Eat, but Don’t!” – Mar 17

Fruits and Veggies: a cornucopia of beads | Sept 16 (12-4)


Learn how to make fun cornucopia style beads! We will explore fruit, veggies and more.  Make this style of bead for your next family gathering, or use them as wine stem charms.

You will learn about heat control, how to shape the glass, and how to mix colors.

This is a 3 hour class (4 hours if more than one person signs up for the class)   Take it slow, and make really fun beads.  You can use these beads later in a charm style bracelet, or necklace or even as wine stem charms.  

You will finish with several beads.

Prerequisite: Some soft glass bead experience

Class Notes:

This class requires protective eye wear which will be provided by SGS. All students must wear close-toed shoes and cotton clothing is recommended. Long hair must be tied back.
After your first class you are welcome to sign up for practice time during our discounted open studio times on Wednesdays from 5PM-9PM and  Thursdays from 12PM-4PM.

Class Prices:
Private (1 person): Members $125 | Non-members $155 (3 hour class)
Couple (2 -6 people): Members $125/person | Non-members $155/person (4 hour class- add an extra hour)

All materials are included in the class fee.

This class includes instructions, use of tools, kiln fees and the glass that is used in class.
