Students will learn how to build an interlaced and decorative design with glass. This will be achieved by using frit, powdered and sheet glass. Alysa will teach students techniques that will help them decide the placements and patterns of their glass to accomplish the desired interlaced design.
There will be discussion about firing schedules and how to obtain different results using these schedules. By the end of this class, students will have the knowledge and confidence to create beautiful fretwork designs on their own. Strip cutting experience is required.
