The Stained Glass Effect

August 8, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Stained Glass Effect (private)

Instructor Alysa Phiel

Students will learn how to use scrap glass  to create “the stained glass effect.” Alysa will teach the techniques used to achieve this method with demos and hands-on assistance. Once students learn the key points of this artistry they will be able to incorporate the components into focal elements, intricate piecework, or they can be used alone.

By the end of class, expect to have one 12” x 12” sheet of glass that will be left to be fired in the kiln. Leave this class with the knowledge of how incorporate the skills taught in other pieces of work. Coldshop Certification is required.

Glass not included
There is a $15.00 material fee for this class. Payable on the day of the class.
Students can and should bring scrap glass to the class.
