Beginning Glassblowing Series: Vases


January 28-29
Saturday 12-5pm

Build on the basics you learned in Introduction to Glassblowing by exploring taller shapes, like the cylinder, cone, and classic vase. You’ll also learn hot to add a lot of interest to your piece with just a bit of color.


This class continues to emphasis proper gathering, heating, shaping and blowing of hot glass.


After this class you’ll have the tools to better approach more complicated shapes with waists and hollow body sculptures. Introduction to Glassblowing is required to take this course.
