Boro – A
Our in-depth beginner level class that immerses students in the art of borosilicate flameworking.

In the next four sessions (16 hours total), we will discuss glass and torch safety, torch setup, materials, tools and their usage and annealing cycles. Some basic techniques we will learn are: frit application, solid color application, hot and cold connections, gathers, punties and more.

Boro A is a great precursor to Boro B. You will gain the knowledge and skills you need to create independently, whether in your own shop, or ours.

Some projects may include: lens pendants, mushroom pendants and sun catchers/icicles. No experience required to take this class.
