In this class we will begin with the disk bead. Once this style is mastered, the hollow bead is the next step. You will learn how to wrap the glass onto the mandrel so that air is trapped between the discs. Next step is to use a puffy mandrel to blow out your hollow beads. Come prepared to take notes and learn how to control your shapes. There will be lots of hands on practice in this class.
Material expenses are not included in the class price. Material fee is 10.00 for this class. There is a min. of 2 students for this class. We will have a few puffy mandrels to use in class.
What to Wear:
Cotton or natural material tops and pants. Long pants are preferred. Close toe shoes. Hair pulled back. We have all of the tools you will need to start your journey with flame worked glass beads.
