Intermediate Glassblowing: Figure Sculpture

Member: $165
Non-Member: $200

Class Length: 3 hours
Schedule: By appointment
Prerequisite:  Novice Series Paperweight Class + Novice Series: Solid Sculpture

Build on the skills and concepts developed in Novice Series: Solid Sculpture. This class will focus on techniques for rendering the human figure in glass. Use hot torches at the bench to heat and shape glass as well as use additive techniques for building up shape and detail.

This intermediate class will focus on individual parts of the body, i.e. head, hands, torso, and others with an eye towards putting it all together.

Color not included or necessary, but still available for purchase from the Hot Shop.
