Description
The Make-Your-Own Plate is a 1.5-hour introduction to exploring creativity in glass fusing. Learn to safely cut colored glass into the shapes and sizes you want under the guidance of a friendly SGS artist instructor, and then assemble your design on a clear glass base. We will fuse your colorful design in a kiln and then slump it (re-melt it into a mold) to create the shape of your choice.
If you are a party of more than one person you must purchase enough of the same time slot to accommodate your group.
Each slot must be added to your order individually. When all slots are added, then pay to complete your reservation.
-Please schedule at least 24 hours in advance. Have dates and times that work for you ready.
-Your piece will need to cool down after its made. Completed projects are available for pick up 7 days after the experience date.
-Pieces can be shipped for an additional fee.
Important Note:
Your safety comes first, so we require that every student at SGS wear closed-toe shoes. Safety glasses are required for some classes (which we’ll provide). Please wear comfortable, cotton clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, just in case. Depending on the class, students should also tie back long hair and avoid wearing dangling jewelry.
