Introduction to Borosilicate (part 2):
This class is for the boro worker who has competed Introduction to boro and who wants to learn more.

This class is 3 classes long which comes out to 9 hours of instruction!

In this class you will learn continue your journey learning more ways to attach bits to glass.  How to stripe down color,  read the heat, create hot seals,  two handed rotation, and how to manipulate glass more easily at the torch. You will also become proficient at making and using a punty.  You will also continue to learn about special tools, and how to set up a studio in your own space.

Some projects may include: Wigwag icicles, marbles and more. 

CLASS NOTES:
Material expenses are not included in the class price. Material fee is 30.00 for this class. 
What to Wear:
Cotton or natural material tops and pants.  Long pants are preferred.   Close toe shoes.  Hair pulled back.  We have all of the tools you will need to start your journey with flame worked glass beads.  
Practice:
After your first class you are welcome and encouraged to sign up for practice time during our discounted open studio times on Wednesdays from 5PM-9PM and  Thursdays from 12PM-4PM.
