Furnace Glassblowing II (ART 266)

Furnace Glassblowing II is a three month intensive that takes the skills learned in Furnace Glassblowing I (ART 265) and teaches intermediate students more advanced techniques. Topics and techniques include:


-Intermediate shape refining

-More experimentation with color techniques

-Introduction to cane pulling

-Introduction to sculptural forms

Our class tuition is in addition to UA/PCC tuition.
Prerequisite: Furnace Glass Blowing I (Art 265) 
Practice intermediate level skills to make more advanced blown forms. This course continues to focus on molten glass techniques, design principles, proper tool usage, color application, working in teams, applying bits and handles, cold working, and sandblasting.
