You can help support Tucson’s only non-profit glass arts school…and all you have to do is eat dinner. On Tuesday, April 1 2014, Sonoran Glass School is participating in La Cocina Restaurant & Cantina‘s Tuesday’s for Tucson Program–a night reserved for non-profit fundraising.
From 5-10 P.M. 10% of all net profits from dinner service (and from cantina drinks) will benefit SGS and all its educational programming, including the Lumie award-winning SGS Youth Development Program (watch the informational video here: https://youtu.be/
We’ll also have Bronwen Heilman‘s The Art of Recycled Glass torchworking demonstration, gallery pieces on display, and music from Jazz Telephonefeaturing Jeff Grubic.

About Sonoran Glass School:
Sonoran Glass School is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization and the premiere source for glass arts education in the desert southwest. We offer classes in furnace glassblowing, torchworking, glass fusing, stained glass, mosaics, coldworking, and more – all taught by a select team of gifted instructors. Local and world-renowned visiting artists host our specialty workshops, and our award-winning youth programs serve students and schools in Tucson. Classes are open to everyone, from first-timers to professional artists and children as young as five.
