Warm Shop

Explore the limitless possibilities of sheet glass. Unlike furnace glassblowing or torch working which use molten glass, this studio works by cutting sheet glass allowing the artist to have more time to focus on color and design elements. The most common style of glasswork in this studio is kiln fusing and slumping but there are other forms of working with sheet glass such as stained glass, kiln casting, and mosaics.

Warm Shop Classes

The Warm Shop features two types of programs: scheduled classes and make your own experiences. Classes are taught by knowledgeable instructors and feature detailed instructions, hands-on demonstrations, and guidance throughout the creative process. Make Your Own Experiences are introductory classes that focus on the skills needed to complete a project.

Projects made are available for pickup 10 days after the class or experience.

Warm Shop Equipment

The Warm Shop includes four large work tables along with additional outdoor workspace, two large bathtub kilns, a Paragon 18″ kiln, 24″ Everheat kiln, and two Denver Kilns (27×41″ and 30×58″), plenty of hand tools, and an assortment of fusible and non-fusible glass.

This studio uses and sells COE 90 sheet glass.
