The Sonoran Glass School is proud to host this annual competition for young artists! We invite youth ages 8-18 to submit a drawing to be transformed into glass. Using a furnace, torch, kiln, or coldworking tools our artists use the drawings to create them in real life out of glass.

Glass artworks are available for purchase at our fundraising event with proceeds supporting our Youth Education Program, providing glass experiences and education to youth in Southern Arizona.

2026 Selected Artworks

For our inaugural event, we received over 70 submissions. 15 artworks were selected, with 12 pieces made by SGS artists leading up to the event and 3 made live. Please join us in congratulating the following artists for their incredibly inspiring artworks.
