Description
Create a one-of-a-kind artwork during this 2 hour experience in the flame shop. This is a class for up to 4 people – bring a partner, friend, or family member! Using a torch and borosilicate glass, each person will create a glass artwork. You will learn skills like gathers, sculpting, adding drawings, and more! All materials and guided instruction provided, with no previous torchworking experience required.
9/25 – forever flowers – gather patties, add texture, and personalize a flower that will never die
10/23 – hollow pumpkins – create a blown bubble that you can decorate as a jack-o-lantern
11/20 – mini vase – make a colored vase out of a blown form and use tools to shape the glass

-Please schedule at least 24 hours in advance.
-Your piece will need to cool down after it’s made. Please pick up your pieces on the following Friday.
-Pieces can be shipped for an additional fee.
Notes:
Please wear closed-toe shoes. Safety glasses are required for some classes (which we’ll provide). Please wear comfortable, cotton clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Depending on the class, students should also tie back long hair and avoid wearing dangling jewelry.
