Glass fusing encompasses a variety of techniques that typically involve using sheet glass or frit (ground glass). Fusing projects often include cutting flat glass into shapes and layering them into a pattern. The item is then placed in a kiln where the glass fuses into the final piece. Alternatively, fusing projects may involve using frit in a mold and fusing the result. Mosaics involve arranging glass pieces into a pattern and adding a grout agent to bind the pieces. Stained glass projects combine pieces of glass with flexible cane, similar to what you might find in a church.
PLEASE NOTE: Glass fusing experiences have an age restriction of 8 years old and up.
