Glassblowing Classes

Glassblowing is an art that involves shaping molten glass using a blowpipe, punty or molds. Typically, the molten glass is blown into a bubble, which is then shaped into objects like vases, bowls, cups, ornaments, or anything you can imagine. Color is often added using frit (ground glass) or color bars. Additional bits of molten glass can be applied to form handles, spouts or other features. Sometimes optic molds are used to add textures like ribs or bumps.
