Description

Do something creative and unique! Make Your Own Glass Flower is a 20-minute introduction to furnace glassblowing in our Hot Shop. You will choose two colors for the petals, one for the stem and the stem style of your piece assisting an instructor in creating your Flower!!

Use a steel pipe to gather glass, add glass color, and reheat as required. Then, use hand tools to pull the petals of your Flower. Take a more active or passive a role based on your comfort level.

If you are a party of more than one person you must book CONSECUTIVE time slots to accommodate your group.

Each time slot is 20 minutes. Choose a start time and then an end time for the number of time slots required. For example:  A two person experience would select a start time of 9am and an end time of 9:40am, since they take 20 minutes to create.

You may book up to 4 time slots. 

-Please schedule at least 24 hours in advance. Have dates and times that work for you ready.
-Your piece will need to cool down and be processed. Please allow at least 7 days before picking up packaged piece/s
-Pieces can be shipped for an additional fee which is determined by postal service

Notes:
Closed-toe shoes are required. Safety glasses are required for some classes (which we’ll provide). Please wear comfortable, cotton clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Depending on the class, students should also tie back long hair and avoid wearing dangling jewelry.
