Furnace Glassblowing II Spring 2026 Semester starts February 2nd and ends April 8th (20 sessions), Mondays & Wednesdays, 1:00 – 4:00 PM
Furnace Glassblowing II is an intensive course that covers more advanced principles of glassblowing. Students will build upon knowledge gained in Art I 265.
Topics and techniques include more advanced glassblowing skills:
*Best practices in gathering and shaping glass
*More advanced techniques used in color applications
*More advanced Blowpipe and Bubble manipulation
*Grinding, embellishing and finishing pieces
