Group / Corporate Events
Group events are an exciting way to spend time with friends, colleagues, or members of your club or organization. Groups of 5-20 people can pick from a variety of experiences, all of which allow them to make glass art pieces or see exciting demonstrations in one or more of our studios. Our talented teaching artists provide comprehensive instruction and expert facilitation to ensure that your group has a safe and inspiring visit to our studios.
The price of your experience depends on how many people are in your group and which Make-Your-Own Experience you’ve scheduled. Some projects are available off campus, at your hotel, resort, or conference center as well.

Group Events at SGS
Tour and Glassblowing Demonstration
The Tour & Demo takes 1 to 2 hours
$20 per person, 10 person minimum.
The Tour & Demo Option features a led exploration through the gallery, our studios, and the Sculpture Garden. Your group will be shown the tools utilized in each studio and examples of the kind of glass art pieces produced in these shops. with an exciting glassblowing demonstration at the end. We will set up chairs, a PA system, and wireless microphone for our instructor to walk you through the process and explain the techniques the use along the way. The artist typically makes a vase or sculptural item in the studio, and these pieces are frequently available for purchase.
Tour and Make-Your-Own Experience
2 hours minimum
Varies from $35-$125 per person, depending on the project
The Tour & Make-Your-Own Experience features the tour and a chance for your group to get in a studio and make a glass project alongside an experienced teaching artist. Pricing depends on the choice of project and number of participants.
Popular Make-Your-Own choices include: fused suncatchers ($35), ornaments ($90), and we are happy to work with your group for themed projects. You are welcome to have catered food and/or beer and wine during your event.
Mobile Glassblowing Demonstrations
The G.O.A.T. (Glassblowing on a trailer) is a mobile glass art studio that is an exciting experience for events, gatherings, and special occasions. Demonstrations are entertaining and educational in nature. Past appearances include glass demos at Hotel Congress, Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain, the University of Arizona, Maynard’s Restaurant, Children’s Museum, and others.
