Open Studio is back!
Learn in a collaborative environment during these open studio hours. Join other artists to use the studio - all tools and equipment are available for use and glass is available for purchase.
Warm Shop
Wednesdays 5pm-8pm
8 person maximum
Bring a project to work on and meet other fusers! This is a great opportunity to learn from other artists and see all the possibilities in the warm shop.
All tools and equipment are available for use. Our shop uses 90COE glass from Bullseye, though we also have 96 available for purchase. Warm Shop open studio does not include firing, which is available for an additional cost.
Flame Shop
Wednesdays 5pm-8pm
6 person maximum
See what other torch workers are up to! Collaborate with other artists or just enjoy the company of others while working on your project.
Use our Nortel Redmax burners, hand tools, and kilns. Propane/oxygen included, boro and soft glass available for purchase. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment, tools, and glass.
Open Studio Policies:
- Full payment is due at the time of services. No exceptions. Walk-ins are permitted and can pay at the door.
- Failure to show: Session will be canceled after 30 minutes, and a one hour deposit will be charged to your credit card.
- Friends and guests are not allowed to assist unless approval has been authorized by SGS staff.
- Renters will be charged for the replacement of any equipment damaged. Costs must be paid in full before any further studio use is authorized.
- A $25 clean-up fee will be charged to renters if the studio is not left the way it was found.
