Bargello Glass Tapestry Coasters
Instructor: Lynda Rivard
This class is designed for both new and experienced students who are interested in learning the Bargello technique, also known as glass tapestry. Bargello is a technique that uses small, irregular pieces of glass to create intricate patterns. The glass pieces are cut and shaped by hand, then arranged and fused together to form a cohesive design. This technique allows for a wide range of colors and textures, resulting in stunning and unique works of art. Students must participate in both classes.
Class 1 – April 8th 1-4pm – Creating your patterned plate using stringers and glass
Class 2 – April 15th 1-4pm – Cutting your fired work from class 1 to assemble a set of 4 coasters
This class has a minimum enrollment of two students. If the minimum is not met, the class will be canceled and the tuition refunded. Please wear close-toe shoes to all Sonoran Glass School classes. Thank you.
