Batik Plates

Instructor: Lynda Rivard

Batik glass fusing is a unique technique that involves layering powdered frit onto a sheet of glass to create intricate patterns. The powdered glass is applied using stencils or freehand, and then fused in a kiln. This process results in beautiful, textured glass pieces that resemble traditional batik fabric. In this class, you will use the batik technique to create a set of 2 6×6″ plates.

This class has a minimum enrollment of four students. If the minimum is not met, the class will be canceled and the tuition refunded. Please wear close-toe shoes to all Sonoran Glass School classes. Thank you.
