Friday Date Night – Torchworking
Pendants for 2 people
Description
Create a one-of-a-kind pendant during this 1 hour experience in the flame shop. This is a private reservation for up to 2 people – bring a partner, friend, or family member! Using a torch and borosilicate glass, each person will create a sculpted leaf, heart, or mushroom pendant perfect to wear, hang, or give as a gift. You will learn how to gather rod into a marble to pull into organic shapes, use tools to sculpt and texture the glass, and create a glass bail to finish the piece. All materials and guided instruction provided, with no previous torchworking experience required.

-Please schedule at least 24 hours in advance.
-Your piece will need to cool down after it’s made. Please pick up your pieces on the following Friday.
-Pieces can be shipped for an additional fee.
Notes:
Please wear closed-toe shoes. Safety glasses are required for some classes (which we’ll provide). Please wear comfortable, cotton clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Depending on the class, students should also tie back long hair and avoid wearing dangling jewelry.
