In this class you will learn frit tinting to create custom colors and special effects using crushed glass as your medium. Frit tinting broadens the color palette immensely and makes it possible to achieve colors—red, yellow, orange—that are often difficult in casting.
You will also get experience in glass volume calculation as you create a kilncasted disc from your custom frit color. The kiln firing takes place after the workshop. These disks can be displayed on metal stands for indoor or outdoor use.
No glass cutting required! This course is suitable for beginners to experienced kilnformers.
