Description

The Make-Your-Own Pendant is a 30 minute introduction to torchworking.

Using a torch and borosilicate glass, you will create a sculpted leaf, heart, or mushroom pendant perfect to wear, hang, or give as a gift. You will learn how to gather rod into a marble to pull into organic shapes, use tools to sculpt and texture the glass, and create a glass bail to finish the piece. All materials and guided instruction provided, with no previous torchworking experience required.

If you are a party of more than one person you must book consecutive time slots to accommodate your group.

Each time slot is 30 minutes. Choose a start time and then an end time for the number of time slots required. You may book up to 4 time slots. 

• Flame Shop Experiences have an age restriction of 12 years old and up.
• Please schedule at least 24 hours in advance. Have dates and times that work for you ready.
• Your piece will need to cool down after its made. Completed projects are available for pick up 7 days after the experience date.
• Pieces can be shipped for an additional fee.

Important Notes:
Your safety comes first, so we require that every student at SGS wear closed-toe shoes. Safety glasses are required for some classes (which we’ll provide). Please wear comfortable, cotton clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Depending on the class, students should also tie back long hair and avoid wearing dangling jewelry.
