Summer at SGS
Starting July 1st, we will be switching to summer hours and programming! Our Hot Shop will be turned off for the summer, but our warm and flame shop have tons of exciting experiences, classes, and events to check out.
We will be open to the public Thursday 11am-6pm, Friday 11am-8pm, and Saturday 11am-6pm with private classes on Tuesdays as well.
Warm Shop
We have classes + workshops for you to further develop your skills, like pet portraits plates (July 8th), botanical kiln carving (July 22nd), and mold making (August 5th).
Cool off with us during Freeze & Fuse Fridays at 11am. These 1 hour experiences use glass powder and water to create tiny sculptures. Kids 12 and up love this activity (and adults, too!)
Make your own experiences are available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm. Make a fused glass suncatcher, coasters, plate, or platter. Reservations are for up to 8 people, so bring a crew and enjoy the air conditioning!
Our Friday date nights at 7pm are a private reservation for up to 8 people – bring snacks and a drink to share while you create glass art with a group.
Studio + kiln rentals are available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11am-1pm or by appointment.
Flame Shop
We have classes + workshops for you to further develop your skills, like bendy straws (July 1st), espresso cups (July 15th), and simple pipes (July 29th).
Make your own experiences are available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays with 30 minute bookings per person. Make a saguaro plant stake, leaf or heart pendant, mushroom stir stick, marbles, or blown glass orb!
Our Friday date nights at 7pm are a private reservation for two people – bring snacks and a drink to share while you create glass art with a group.
