Join us in welcoming Visiting Artist Joshua Wojick for a lecture on his work and a discussion of his art in this presentation by the artist. A glassblowing demonstration with the SGS Hot Shop Team will also be featured during the evening.
Light refreshments will be provided.

Joshua has worked with glass since 1998 and received his B.F.A from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. He is currently the studio manager at The Henry Ford Museum, creating early American historical reproductions. In addition, he works as an Adjunct Faculty member teaching glassblowing at the College for Creative Studies.
His work is based in traditional Murano style furnace methods—a dichotomy of technique-driven craft and mixed media sculpture which include both man-made and natural materials. He has worked and exhibited with some of the top artists in various studios and galleries throughout the country.
