Welcome to Sonoran Glass School's Rental Page!
As part of our educational mission, Sonoran Glass School’s studios are available for public rental. Glass artists and students who meet our qualifications may rent our Hot Shop, Flame Shop, Warm Shop or Cold Shop. Rental sessions are a great opportunity to work on new ideas or finish projects. SGS staff will be on site during all rental sessions.

Hot Shop Rental Guidelines
• Full payment is due at the time of services. No exceptions. Please sign safety release and submit with payment. Rental time must be reserved in advance. No walk-ins.
• Friends and guests are not allowed to assist unless approval has been authorized by SGS staff.
• Renters will be charged for the replacement of any equipment damaged. Costs will be paid in full before any further studio time use is authorized.
• A $25 clean-up fee will be charged to renters if the studio is not left the way it was found.
Hot Shop Studio Rental Wed. & Sat. Minimum 4 hours:
Includes cullet, 30 minutes cold shop. Renter provides their own color.
Cullet use over 5 lbs. /hr (20 lbs. for four hours) will be charged @ $3/lb.

Hot Shop Studio Wednesday's LINK:
Designed as an open studio session for experienced students to come and work on projects from 5:30pm-9:30pm. Tools and equipment in the studio are available for students to use. Staff will be available if students run into any issues while working. We will have one hole open for up to three students to use together. It is one hour and twenty minutes per student. Should only two students arrive, open studio will will end at 8:30 PM. If we have only one sign up, we will cancel open studio and issue a refund to students who have paid ahead.
4 hour slot cost: $80.00 due at close of session
Hot Shop Studio Saturday's LINK:
Designed as an open studio session for experienced students to come and work on projects from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Tools and equipment in the studio are available for students to use. Staff will be available if students run into any issues while working. We will have one hole open for up to three students to use together. It is one hour and twenty minutes per student. Should only two students arrive, open studio will will end at 4:00 PM. If we have only one sign up, we will cancel open studio and issue a refund to students who have paid ahead. Tools and equipment in the studio are available for students to use. Staff will be available if students run into any issues while working.
4 hour slot cost: $80.00 due at close of session
Flame Shop Wednesday's LINK:
Designed as an open studio session for experienced students to come and work on projects from 5:30pm-9:30pm. Tools and equipment in the studio are available for students to use. Staff will be available if students run into any issues while working.
Cost: $25.00 per 4 hour session due upon departure
Fusing Tuesday's LINK:
Designed as an open studio session for experienced students to come and work on projects from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Tools and equipment in the studio are available for students to use. Staff will be available if students run into any issues while working.
Cost: $25.00 per 3 hour session due upon departure
Fusing Thursday's LINK:
Designed as an open studio session for experienced students to come and work on projects from 9:00am-12:00pm. Tools and equipment in the studio are available for students to use. Staff will be available if students run into any issues while working.
Cost: $25.00 per 3 hour session due upon departure
Cold Shop Rental
Slots are available Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm for experienced glass artist's to cut, polish & finish their art glass.
