Description

Explore the skills needed to craft, shape, color, and create various torchworked projects including beads, sculptures, and hollow forms. This is a series of introductory torchworking classes. No experience necessary to start – move through the series to gain skills and understanding of techniques.

Class Length 1 1/2 hours – add 1 1/2 hours for each additional person. Additional guided studio time is available for an additional $90/hour.

Available Class Offerings:

Introduction to Torchworking:
Start with an overview of equipment, shop safety, and shop etiquette. Learn how to gather and manipulate molten glass using a torch, gravity, and various graphite tools.

Novice:  (requires completion of all Introduction classes or instructor approval)

Intermediate: (requires completion of two novice series classes or instructor approval)

Color is not included but available for purchase. Wear closed toe shoes and non-synthetic clothing.
